DiamondScope captures baseball card images that you choose to photograph or upload. Those images are sent to the configured DiamondScope backend so the app can crop, inspect, and generate card condition feedback.

What data the app handles

Camera images and uploaded photos that you intentionally provide.
Google account identifiers, including name and email, used for sign-in and credit accounting.
Credit balances, credit usage records, and PayPal order references used to fulfill purchases.
The eBay seller email you enter to label a connection, immutable eBay seller identifier, authorization tokens stored privately per DiamondScope user, and listing data you choose to publish.
Technical logs needed to keep the backend stable and secure.
Support contact messages, if you send them.

How data is used

To normalize the card image and return grading-style analysis.
To associate purchases and usage with the verified Google account that owns the credit wallet.
To send confirmed listing information to the separately authorized eBay seller account.
To secure, monitor, and improve the service.
To respond to support requests and abuse reports.

Sharing

Images and related request data are processed by the DiamondScope backend to provide inspections and requested listing features. Google processes sign-in, PayPal processes payment, and eBay processes seller authorization and published listings under their respective policies. The eBay seller email may differ from the Google email that owns the DiamondScope credit wallet. DiamondScope does not receive Google, PayPal, or eBay passwords. Data is not sold.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded images and analysis logs should be retained only as long as needed to provide the service, secure the system, and resolve disputes. Production operators should define and publish their exact retention window before launch.

DiamondScope receives eBay marketplace account deletion/closure notifications. After validating that a notice came from eBay, DiamondScope irreversibly removes the matching eBay seller token, seller label, immutable eBay identifier, and eBay listing references it stores. This does not delete the separate Google sign-in or DiamondScope credit account; that account requires a separate deletion request.

Security

The production release should use HTTPS for all backend communication, store secrets only on the backend, and restrict operational access to authorized personnel.

Your choices

You can stop using the app at any time, avoid uploading images, and contact the operator to request deletion of support-submitted personal data where applicable.
